Torah Trope Tutor — Privacy Policy

Torah Trope Tutor is designed to keep your information private. In short: your data stays on your device and, if you choose, in your own Apple iCloud account. We — the developer, Epic Custom Apps — do not collect it on our own servers, sell it, or use it to track you.

The short version

• What you create in the app — your saved readings (the verses you mark) and your settings — is stored on your device.
• These small items also sync through your own iCloud account (Apple's iCloud key-value storage), visible only to you and mirrored across your devices. They are not stored on servers we run.
• We do not sell your data, show ads, or use third-party tracking or analytics.
• The app asks for no name or account, and does not access your Contacts, photos, or location.

Information the app works with

• Saved readings. The book, verse range, and label of sections you mark.
• Settings. Small preferences such as which scribal script the scroll view uses.

This information is created and used only to make the app work. There is no sign-up and no personal profile.

Chant audio

The chant recordings are downloaded, when you tap Listen, from this website (epiccustomapps.com) and cached on your device. Fetching a file is an ordinary web request; like any website, our host may record standard, non-identifying request information (such as the file requested). We do not use this to identify or track you, and you can clear cached audio in the app under Settings → Offline audio.

Diagnostics

The app keeps a small technical diagnostics log on your device to help with troubleshooting. It stays on your device and is never sent anywhere unless you choose to export it and send it to us for support.

What we do not do

• We do not run our own servers that collect your personal data.
• We do not sell, rent, or trade your information.
• We do not use advertising networks or third-party analytics/tracking.
• We do not access your Contacts, photos, or location.

Your choices and deleting data

You control your information inside the app — edit or delete any saved reading at any time. To remove everything: delete the app from your device to clear the on-device copy, and, if you used iCloud, remove the iCloud copy from Settings → your name → iCloud (delete the app from every device before removing the iCloud copy).

Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, we will change the effective date above and post the revised version at this address.
